Showing of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks film on March 16, 2021

 

As part of the campus’ celebration of Women’s History Month, the college is having a Watch Party and Discussion of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks film from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.  The 2017 film examines the life of Henrietta Lacks and how a physician’s use of her cells without her knowledge or consent continues to fuel debates about medical ethics, particularly in communities of color.
